This week in PE, we got into the holiday spirit by playing a variety of fun, holiday-themed games. These activities focused on movement, teamwork, and skill development while keeping the energy high and the gym full of excitement. Students loved the festive challenges and did a great job supporting one another and staying active. As we head into the break, I want to thank our students and families for a wonderful start to the school year. Wishing everyone a happy and restful holiday season. I look forward to seeing everyone back in the gym in the new year. - Mr. van Sluys

This week in PE, we kicked off the holiday season with a few festive games that kept everyone active and smiling. One of our favourites was Snowman Battle, where students aimed to knock down the opposing team’s snowmen using their best throwing accuracy. The team with the most standing snowmen at the end claimed the win, and there was lots of excitement as students worked together to protect their snowmen and aim carefully. We also played Grinch Mountain, a fast-paced game where students used scooters to travel across the gym and rescue presents that the grinches had stolen. It was a great way to practice stamina, coordination, and quick decision-making. We’ll continue the fun next week with more holiday-themed activities to help keep everyone moving and enjoying the season. - Mr. van Sluys
