We were outside all week again this week due to the Alien Inline residency in the gymnasium, but luckily the weather cooperated, although the mornings can still be quite cool. Thank you to everyone for wearing appropriate fall clothing these past two weeks. We will likely still be going outside for a lesson or two next week, so continue to bring jackets, toques and mitts. Thank you!
Students started working on throwing and catching skills this week. We really focused on stepping with our opposite foot as we threw the ball to add power to our throws. I saw a lot of improvement over the week.
Halfway through the week we took a break from throwing and catching and took part in a community walk/clean-up. Students used little pinchers to pick up the pieces of garbage, so no hands should have been handling garbage at all. We collected two big garbage bags worth of garbage! Good work taking care of the community, MTS!
