Over the past few weeks, MTS students have been hard at work learning the fundamentals of floor hockey! Last week we continued to focus on the key skills of stickhandling and passing, helping them develop control, accuracy, and confidence with their hockey sticks. Through fun drills and partner activities, they improved their ability to maneuver and pass the ball.
This past week, we put those skills to the test in real floor hockey games! It was amazing to see the students apply what they had learned, working together to pass, defend, and score goals. Beyond the physical skills, they also practiced teamwork, communication, and sportsmanship—essential lessons that go beyond the game.
I’m so proud of their progress and enthusiasm! Ask your child about their experience and favourite moments from our floor hockey unit!
