This short week, PE classes continued working on overhand throws while enjoying the outdoors. Students in Grades 1 and 2 practiced with soft foam balls, focusing on proper technique, accuracy, and building confidence. Grades 3 and 4 challenged themselves with footballs, learning how to step, aim, and throw with power and control.  We played a variation of Leapfrog Touchdowns, and students also learned the classic recess game, Jackpot!

Because our Grade 3, 4 and EES students began their Alien Inline residency this week in the gymnasium, regular gym classes took place outside. It was a great chance to get fresh air, stay active, and keep developing throwing skills.

Have a great weekend!
